INSURTECH CAREERS

What Working at InsCipher Will Be Like

At InsCipher we’re dedicated to taking care of our employees and giving them the autonomy to own their role and do great work. We have this crazy idea that when you take care of your team and empower your employees to do their best work, they will.

Just like we’re producing best-in-class surplus lines solutions for our clients, we’ve created an unparalleled culture for our employees. We’re a tight-knit team of innovators, excited about making a difference in our individual roles.

Think you would make a great fit? Here’s just a few things you’ll love about working at InsCipher:

Work Where You Want

InsCipher provides remote-work opportunities for our employees, allowing us to hire top-caliber candidates without geographical restrictions. Choose your work situation--from home, in-office, or a hybrid of the two.

East coast or west coast? Doesn't matter to us. As long as you have reliable internet and a workspace free of distractions, you're good to go!

Exceptional Benefits

Sure, we offer all the standard benefits like comprehensive medical, dental, and vision--but they start from day one--because we know life doesn't wait for your benefits to kick in. At InsCipher, you're covered.

We also offer four weeks of paid vacation your first year, 9 paid holidays, parental and bereavement leave, and a 401k that we match up to 4%.

Make a Difference

Say goodbye to the days of being just another number in a sea of cubicles. At InsCipher, every member of our team has the opportunity to own their role and be impactful. The growth potential is unlimited.

Be proactive, implement solutions, think outside-the-box. Our product is disrupting the industry. We want to make sure our team does, too.

Employment Opportunities

As the Product Marketing Manager, you lead a team and direct Marketing decisions for InsCipher. You research, strategize, collaborate, plan, and execute to take us to the next level.

About Inscipher

The insurance industry is old school. Spreadsheets. Formulas. Email. It’s been ripe for innovation. InsCipher is the first and only (for now!) to automate some of the more tedious aspects of insurance tax reporting.

We have all the makings of the next breakout software company: a sticky, high-value, big savings product in high demand, a great ops team, and steadily growing sales. No one does what we do, and we plan to continue to stay ahead of the curve. We have a chance to own this market.

A Day in the Life of a Product Marketing Manager at Inscipher

You’ll be building a marketing strategy to generate warm leads, evaluating existing assets, and finding ways to clarify and enhance our message. You’ll look for new opportunities and help identify threats from competitors. You’ll help develop a consistent brand and message, and find unique ways to market InsCipher by leveraging the assets at your disposal (design, video, digital resources). Collaborations with Partners, webinars/thought leadership, and lead magnets are big goals of ours for 2022.

What You Need to Succeed

You’ll be given the freedom to design cradle-to-grave marketing initiatives and put those into action. The PMM we’re looking for:

  • Is an excellent communicator, especially written communication. You must be able to clearly, concisely, and consistently articulate InsCipher’s value proposition
  • Thinks strategically and acts tactically. The magic happens when you can combine both.
  • Capitalizes on our strengths, while identifying threats and weaknesses.
  • Can lead discussions regarding marketing strategy, and inspire others to join the effort.
  • Can manage a project from start to finish and hold others accountable
  • Thrives on autonomy and, after training, isn’t scared to dive in and be a sponge when it comes to learning the business beside other self-guided learners
  • Is flexible with job roles and responsibilities; a hands-on approach—collaborating with other teams will only make you more successful

Other  Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent years of experience
  • Highly experienced in generating warm leads
  • Willingness to learn our software and how it brings value to the insurance industry
  • Experience researching, planning, budgeting, forecasting, executing, analyzing, and reporting on marketing campaigns
  • Project Management skills
  • Experience in SEO/SEM, video marketing, social media marketing
  • Digital Paid Advertising (PPC)
  • Automated marketing efforts, analytics, project planning and Ecomm software like Hubspot or SalesForce. We use Hubspot.
  • Graphic and Web Design, including some print media
  • Experience in content marketing including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, testimonials, lead magnets, etc.
  • Trade show and/or event planning

The Benefits

Benefits include 4 weeks combined vacation/PTO, 401K with matching, health, vision, and dental. You get all of the benefits of working at a start-up with the financial backing of a large company. It’s the best of both worlds.
