Automatic OPTins Report Completion: New Feature

It is our goal at InsCipher to continually improve our products and services. One of our newest updates is our ability for automatic OPTins report completion.

The Current Problem

When filing surplus lines taxes and reports, many states use a filing platform called OPTins. OPTins is a way that brokers can file their surplus lines tax reports and remit payments in over 20 states. Depending on the state, some reports are due monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. The difficulty of these reports can be simple or complex, but it varies from state to state. Additionally, some states require amendments to the reports if submitted incorrectly or incompletely.

How InsCipher’s Automatic OPTins Report Completion Solves This Problem

Our newest feature works to solve this problem. With our ability for automatic OPTins report completion, our system will allow InsCipher clients to file in OPTins states while still utilizing our user-friendly products. This solution we now offer automatically generates all OPTins reports for our users. Whether it be an XLS or a PDF, InsCipher takes the guesswork out of completing these reports. This saves InsCipher users time and ensures that reports are filed correctly. This is especially helpful during the annual tax reporting season where many state reports are due at once.

We are excited for this new feature to free up your time and allow you to write more surplus lines business.
